Reporting: How it works
The payment process for reporters is straightforward: Visit our website or app and easily submit a recording of yourself posing a question from the leaderboard to the public figure. Reporters who effectively record and capture themselves asking these questions live will be eligible for a reward, where it is then minted as an NFT, or "In Real Life" (IRLs). These NFTs are unique digital collectibles that represent ownership of the moment of time when a reporter asks a question of public interest.
This approach establishes a blockchain with verifiable video evidence of real-world events, creating an immutable record that stands against the potential manipulation by legacy media and AI-generated video. In Real Life NFTs (IRLs) are authenticated and serve as a bulwark in an era increasingly confronted with the challenge of distinguishing between genuine and synthetic media.
The verification of these videos is conducted by a combination of community oversight, oracles, judges, and AI within our ecosystem. This ensures the authenticity of the reporter's work and enhances their professional reputation. Reporters, as the creators of these NFTs, will receive royalties on sales of their videos, creating a continuous stream of income. The royalty structure allocates 1% to the reporter, 1% to the DAO, and 1% to the Foundation.
As reporters grow in reputation by voicing the questions of the people and expanding their collection of IRLs minted, their digital portfolio and reputation is poised to increase in value, both monetarily and historically.
